Sponsorship Opportunities

2010 Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities 

We expect about 60 outstanding youth with disabilities representing diverse backgrounds and different areas of the state to attend this 5 day intensive leadership development forum. The primary goal of YLF is to learn skill sets and strategies to assist in the transition into the world of work, higher education, and independent living. It costs approximately $1,700 per student to attend this leadership program, and just about $150,000 in total.

One way the Your Organization can support YLF is to sponsor cost of one or more youth with disabilities from northern California to attend the forum, at which time we would be pleased to:

·         feature Your Organization in all printed materials

·         mention Your Organization in all media materials including feature articles and media advisories;

·         logo and reciprocal link to Your Organization  featured on YLF website;

·         offer one guest invitation to attend the YLF Mentors Luncheon for each youth supported.

Sponsorship of YLF Mentor’s Luncheon.

This part of the 5 day event  gives youth with disabilities an opportunity to learn from successful adults with disabilities and the opportunity to learn and practice the art of networking. We invite one adult mentor with a disability per youth to the luncheon as well as community leaders, partners and allies.

 Your Organization could sponsor the Mentors Luncheon in any one of three levels: $2000-Supporter, $4000- Endorser, $6000-Advocate. Sponsorships at this level include:

·         feature Your Organization in all printed materials

·         mention Your Organization in all media materials including  feature articles and media advisories;

·         logo and reciprocal link to Your Organization  featured on YLF website;

·         recognize the Your Organization in the luncheon’s opening and closing remarks;

·         recognize the Your Organization with an award for your support for youth with disabilities; and

·         offer 2 to 6 guest invitations to attend the luncheon.

Sponsorship of Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities

This is an opportunity to sponsor the full 5 day event, and ongoing alumni activities.  Your Organization could become a sponsor of the entire program in any one of three levels: $10,000-Friend, $20,000-Leader, or  $30,000-Champion.  Sponsorships at this level include:

·         feature in all Your Organization printed materials;

·         mention Your Organization in all media materials including feature articles and media advisories;

·         logo and reciprocal link to Your Organization  featured on YLF website;

·         recognize the Your Organization in the luncheon’s opening and closing remarks;

·         recognize the Your Organization with an award for your support for youth with disabilities;

·         offer 10 guest invitations to attend mentors luncheon;

·         Your Organization has an opportunity to speak at the mentors luncheon;

·         Your Organization has an opportunity to be a presenter during the five day program.
